My mission? To make the world a safer place – one home, one workplace at a time. But I haven’t always had the strength, energy or clarity to achieve my biggest, boldest dreams. 

A move to inner-city Melbourne had a life-threatening impact on my health.
 
I’d always had an aversion to perfume, car fumes, and cigarette smoke. But what began as brain fog and fatigue became headaches, then vomiting, and anaphylaxis. Most days, I lacked the energy to perform basic tasks.

I couldn’t even concentrate long enough to hold a conversation. 
Many struggled to understand my condition. Others suggested there was nothing physically wrong with me.

But the truth? (This might shock you…)

THE ROOT CAUSE OF MY ILLNESS WASN’T IN MY HEAD. IT WAS IN MY HOME

I’d been unknowingly putting myself at risk and making myself sicker every day. 

What began as a process of reclaiming my health became a passion to prevent others from suffering as I had. 

I threw myself into studying how our built environment impacts our health and launched Eco Health Solutions, offering home-assessments to identify hidden environmental hazards that wreak havoc on our physical health and mental wellbeing.

But what broke my heart? 

Explaining to clients that their dream rental or forever-home was riddled with health hazards – often after they’d signed contracts or paid for building and pest reports.

I knew there had to be a way to help more people sooner, so they could save time, money, energy and stress on shortlisting properties and finding their next home.
